Inside the ULIO Internship: The Summer That Can Change Your Path, For most high school students, summer is usually a time for rest, a break from exams, and maybe the occasional tuition class or vacation trip. But what if your summer could be something more? What if, instead of just passing time, you could build something — clarity, confidence, and a career head start?

That’s exactly what the ULIO Internship offers.

From July 7 to August 1, 2025, a handpicked group of 50 students from Grades 8 to 12 will step into one of the most thoughtfully curated learning journeys out there — ULIO Internship Cohort 1. It’s not just a program. It’s a four-week launchpad into the world of ideas, impact, and inspiration.

Not Just Theory Real, Hands-On Learning

Unlike school, the ULIO Internship doesn’t ask you to memorize. It asks you to explore. It offers four unique tracks: Career Exploration, Leadership, Research, and Volunteering, each one designed to go beyond the classroom, giving you the chance to work on real-world problems, alongside real mentors, in ways that matter.

In the Career Exploration track, students get a behind-the-scenes look at exciting fields like architecture, engineering, strategy, and consulting. One week you're analyzing why a startup is losing users, the next you’re prototyping a solution as a junior engineer. The learning is dynamic, fast-paced, and deeply rooted in the real world — guided by mentors who’ve worked at places like Sony India, Deloitte, Neo Group.

The Leadership track, on the other hand, is where ideas become action. With sessions led by experts from CaseCatalyst, and global nonprofits, students dive into diplomacy, critical thinking, and entrepreneurship. They write position papers, develop business models, and even pitch to real industry professionals. The goal? To lead — not just in titles, but with purpose and perspective.

If you’re curious about the world and love asking questions, Research might be your calling. Over four weeks, students in this track learn how to conduct real research — from scoping topics and designing surveys to analyzing findings and presenting insights. The mentorship is rigorous yet personal, with a clear goal: helping you publish something meaningful before you even step into college.

And finally, there’s Volunteering — a space for those who want to give back, while also learning skills like digital creativity, storytelling, peer mentoring, and social impact leadership. From vision boards and Canva projects to writing letters to your future self, this track helps students discover the joy of contribution — all while earning a volunteering badge and certificate.

Mentors Who Walk the Talk

The mentors at ULIO are not just academics — they’re changemakers. They’ve studied at places like UC Berkeley, Stanford, Columbia, LSR, and BITS Pilani, and worked with global brands, startups, and nonprofits. But more importantly, they care. Every mentor offers live sessions, open office hours and personalized feedback

These aren’t just “classes.” They’re conversations. Real stories. Candid insights. The kind of mentorship most students don’t get until much later if ever.

A Certificate That Means Something

At the end of the program, every student receives a Certificate of Participation — but what they truly carry forward is far more powerful: a new lens to look at their future, a toolkit of skills, and a portfolio of work that they actually created. Top performers also get nominated as ULIO Ambassadors— giving them continued access to tools, mentors, and insights long after the internship ends.
